Our History
United Way has been active in Pampa, Texas since June 30, 1953. Earlier years it was known as "Pampa United Fund, Inc.".The name Pampa United Way was adopted in 1985. Pampa United Way is governed by a volunteer board. Local Agencies must meet high standards in order to receive funding. They must be accountable, efficient and provide for the most important nees of the community.

The mission of the Pampa United Way is to mobilize financial and human resources in an effort to meet human service needs.
